Depart Nairobi after breakfast or collection from your hotel, residence or agreed pickup point. Drive north through Kenya's central highlands, passing changing farmland and landscapes as you make your way towards Samburu.

Arrive in the Samburu area and continue with an afternoon wildlife-viewing programme as time allows. Samburu is known for its dry northern scenery and species associated with this part of Kenya, making it a strong contrast to the parks later in the itinerary.

Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives or a longer safari programme arranged by your guide. The reserve's riverine habitat and semi-arid landscape create excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Your guide will coordinate the day's movements according to wildlife activity, road conditions and guest preferences. This full day gives you enough time to experience the northern character of a Samburu safari in Kenya.

After breakfast, leave Samburu and drive south towards the central highlands and Aberdare region. The route changes dramatically from the drier north to greener highland country.

Arrive in the Aberdares area and settle into your lodge or camp. Depending on your confirmed programme, the afternoon can include time to relax, scenic exploration or wildlife viewing connected to the lodge and surrounding reserve area.

Depart the Aberdares after breakfast and continue towards the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru. The journey introduces another change of landscape as the safari descends towards the Rift Valley floor.

On arrival, proceed with the day's Lake Nakuru safari programme. The park is known for its lake environment, varied birdlife and opportunities to view plains game and other wildlife within a compact and scenic setting.

After breakfast, leave the Lake Nakuru area and travel to Lake Naivasha. This shorter transfer allows more time to enjoy the Rift Valley scenery and a more relaxed day between major wildlife reserves.

Depending on your final package, optional activities around Naivasha can be arranged separately. The day provides a useful change of pace before continuing to the Masai Mara.

Depart Lake Naivasha after breakfast and continue towards the Masai Mara via Narok. The scenery gradually changes as you approach one of Kenya's best-known safari regions.

After arrival in the Mara, continue with a game drive or wildlife-viewing programme according to arrival time. Later proceed to Talek and check in at Rovers Campsite Mara.

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with your professional driver/guide. The programme is focused on game viewing, photography and time in the open savannah landscape.

Your guide will use local knowledge to search for wildlife and position the vehicle for strong viewing opportunities. The day is ideal for travellers looking for a classic Masai Mara safari experience and a deeper wildlife programme than a short overnight visit.

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and begin the long road journey towards Amboseli. Your guide will coordinate comfort stops, meal breaks and travel timing throughout the day.

The transfer links the Mara ecosystem with southern Kenya and sets up the final major wildlife destination of the safari. Arrive in the Amboseli area later in the day and settle into your confirmed lodge or camp.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with a programme of game drives planned around wildlife activity and local conditions. The park is especially known for its elephant populations and open landscapes.

On clear days, the wider Amboseli region can offer dramatic views in the direction of Mount Kilimanjaro. Your guide will focus on wildlife, photography and making the most of your final full safari day.

After breakfast, enjoy any final safari activity included in your confirmed programme before leaving the Amboseli region and travelling back towards Nairobi.

Arrive in Nairobi later in the day for drop-off at your agreed hotel, residence or transfer point. This completes your 10 days Kenya safari through Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara and Amboseli.
