6 Days / 5 Nights Samburu, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari

Depart Nairobi after breakfast or collection from your agreed pickup point. Drive north through Kenya's central highlands towards Samburu, watching the scenery change from fertile farmland to the drier landscapes of northern Kenya.

Arrive in the Samburu area and, depending on timing, continue with an introductory game drive. Your guide will coordinate wildlife viewing and arrival at your confirmed accommodation.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu with your professional driver/guide. Morning and afternoon game drives, or a longer wildlife-viewing programme, can be arranged according to conditions.

The region's riverine habitat and semi-arid landscape create a distinctive setting for a Samburu safari in Kenya.

After breakfast, travel south through the central highlands towards the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru, with comfort and scenic stops coordinated by your guide.

On arrival, continue with the Lake Nakuru safari programme according to timing. The lake environment, birdlife and wildlife provide a strong contrast to Samburu.

Depart Lake Nakuru and continue through the Great Rift Valley towards Narok and the Masai Mara. The landscape gradually opens as you approach one of Kenya's most celebrated safari regions.

Depending on arrival time, enjoy an introductory Mara game drive before proceeding to Talek and checking in at Rovers Campsite Mara.

Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with your professional driver/guide. The programme focuses on game viewing, wildlife photography and time in the open savannah.

Your guide will use local knowledge to search for rewarding sightings during your Masai Mara safari.

After breakfast, enjoy any final wildlife-viewing activity included in your programme before leaving the Masai Mara and beginning the return journey to Nairobi.

Travel via Narok and the Great Rift Valley. Arrival in Nairobi is expected later in the day, completing your 6 days Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari.
