7 Days / 6 Nights Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara Safari

Depart Nairobi after breakfast or collection from your agreed pickup point. Travel north through Kenya's central highlands towards Samburu, watching the landscape change from fertile farmland to the drier scenery of northern Kenya.

Arrive in the Samburu area and, depending on timing, continue with an introductory game drive. Your guide will coordinate wildlife viewing, comfort stops and arrival at your confirmed accommodation.

Spend a full day exploring Samburu with your professional driver/guide. Morning and afternoon game drives, or a longer wildlife-viewing programme, can be arranged according to conditions and your confirmed itinerary.

The region's riverine habitat and semi-arid landscape create a distinctive setting. Your guide will focus on wildlife, photography and the experience of a Samburu safari in Kenya.

After breakfast, leave Samburu and travel south towards Kenya's central highlands and the Aberdare region. The scenery becomes greener as you move from the northern wilderness into highland country.

Arrive in the Aberdares area and continue with the day's confirmed programme. Depending on the selected property and timing, the afternoon may include scenic exploration, relaxation or wildlife viewing around the reserve and lodge area.

Depart the Aberdare highlands after breakfast and continue towards the Great Rift Valley and Lake Nakuru, enjoying changing landscapes along the route.

On arrival, continue with the day's Lake Nakuru safari programme according to timing. The lake environment, birdlife and varied wildlife provide another distinctive experience within this Kenya safari.

After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and travel through the Great Rift Valley towards Narok and the Masai Mara. The landscape gradually opens as you approach Kenya's celebrated savannah ecosystem.

Depending on arrival time, enjoy an introductory Masai Mara game drive before proceeding to Talek and checking in at Rovers Campsite Mara.

Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with your professional driver/guide. The programme focuses on wildlife viewing, photography and experiencing the reserve's open savannah.

Your guide will use local knowledge to search for rewarding sightings. Depending on conditions, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelopes and predators associated with a classic Masai Mara safari in Kenya.

After breakfast, enjoy any final wildlife-viewing activity included in your confirmed programme before leaving the Masai Mara and beginning the road journey back to Nairobi.

Travel via Narok and the Great Rift Valley, with comfort stops coordinated by your guide. Arrival in Nairobi is expected later in the day, completing your 7 days Samburu, Aberdares, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara safari.
